Our Education Programmes
Three distinct programmes, each designed around a calm, deliberate reading-and-discussion format suited to adults who want clarity — not urgency.

- Optional peer discussion circles
- Reflection-focused format
Estate & Legacy Planning Literacy Programme
An eight-session evening programme introducing wills, LPA documents, advance care arrangements, and CPF nomination within the Singapore context. Literacy-focused — participants build vocabulary and understanding to engage qualified professionals more confidently.

Why Marbeth
A Different Kind of Financial Education
Reading-Led Format
Materials are distributed before each session. Participants arrive prepared, and classroom time is reserved for discussion rather than passive listening.
Small Cohort Sizes
No more than 14 participants per cohort. Every person has space to ask questions and engage at their own pace without the pressure of a large seminar.
Singapore Context Throughout
All scenarios, terminology, and frameworks are drawn directly from the Singapore financial and legal landscape — CPF, SRS, LPA, and local household realities.
Purely Educational
Marbeth provides literacy, not advice. Participants leave better equipped to ask the right questions — not burdened with action steps they are not yet ready to take.
Deliberate Scheduling
Evening and weekend formats accommodate working adults. Sessions are spaced to allow reflection between meetings — not rushed into a single intensive day.
Peer Networks Included
Participant directories and optional follow-up discussion circles mean the learning continues beyond the classroom, among people navigating similar life stages.

Our programmes are designed for adults who want to read carefully, ask good questions, and build a sound picture of their financial landscape — without being rushed to any conclusion.
Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
Who are these programmes designed for?
Marbeth programmes are designed for Singapore adults aged 40 and above who want a clearer understanding of their financial landscape — particularly around CPF structures, household budgeting during mid-life transitions, and estate planning vocabulary. No prior financial knowledge is assumed.
Are these programmes financial advice?
No. Marbeth offers educational reading programmes and facilitated discussion — not regulated financial advisory services. All programme content is literacy-focused. Participants are encouraged to consult qualified professionals for personal financial decisions.
How many people are in each cohort?
The Retirement Readiness series takes a maximum of 14 participants. The Household Budget workshop accommodates 6–10 participants. The Estate & Legacy programme runs with similar small-group constraints. This format supports genuine discussion and means every participant has room to contribute.
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are held at our Tras Street premises in Tanjong Pagar, Singapore. The room is set up in a small classroom arrangement. Directions and session schedules are sent to enrolled participants upon registration.
What materials are provided?
Each programme includes printed workbooks or reference guides, a glossary of relevant terminology, and session recordings where applicable. The Household Budget workshop also includes a household cashflow workbook. All materials are yours to keep and revisit.
